Review Text : Dafam Fortuna Hotel Yogyakarta by Shindya Devi
After days of busy schedule, I am so excited to
finally share my post in this blog. But I’m actually confuse and unsure about
how to choose the topic for the first post. I believe the impression from
you about this blog is importance. Because I feel like never get a second
chance to make good impression, am I right? ^^
For my post,
-and let me tell you- I choose to write review text about one of Hotel in Malioboro Yogyakarta.
Hotel Dafam Fortuna
located in Dagen Street No.60 Malioboro, Yogyakarta. It is in located in great
place. For your information (if you are a traveler) It is close to famous Malioboro
Shopping Area, Malioboro Mall, Bringharjo Traditional Market, Vredeburg Museum
, Keraton Yogyakarta (Sultan Yogyakarta Palace) , and Taman Sari (Water
Castle).Highlights of this hotel are restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool , and
free voucher spa relaxation. All 125 rooms feature free Wi-Fi, LCD TV, Coffee/tea
makers. Additionally, 24 hours room service, free bottle water, and in-room
massage is available.
Now I will tell you
about the + and - of Dafam Fortuna Hotel:
+ : I visit
this Hotel with my family for several times, and we had pleasant experience
during our stay in this hotel. I can say
that I love it. This hotel is easy to find, good facilities, good food, great location,
near restaurant and cafe in Malioboro, clean, friendly & helpful staff. I am so
amazed about the hospitality, and superb service from the staff in Dafam
Fortuna Hotel.
I also very happy with the breakfast. Breakfast there also provides a menu of traditional herbs (Jamu) serve in the traditional bottle, chicken porridge, etc. I have a story about the superb service from Dafam Fotruna Hotel's Staff. In my second visit to this Hotel, I had a problem. The rental car that I contacted for our trip is not shown. The staff in receptionist knowing our problem, and help us to arrange another rental car for our trip. It was a great help. Beside, the housekeeping staff, security staff and the staff in restaurant are hospitable & humble. Thank you to Dafam Fortuna Hotel staff ^^

: Some minus from this Hotel are the check – in process
is slow (slow respond from guest on reservation), pillow in room very thin, and
the pool needs cleaning.I also disappointed with the free voucher spa from Dafam Fortuna Hotel. The voucher is just for 10 minutes, and I hope Dafam Fortuna Hotel can give more bonuses haha.
Just a little complaint but it needs to be solved to
avoid guest dissatisfaction.
Overall
it is quite good for a 3 stars Hotel with affordable price in a prime location. On
the whole, I enjoyed myself at this Hotel and would recommend it if you are to
visit Yogyakarta. This Hotel is recommended for business or family trip for
short stay.
Note
: I suggest you to try Sup Iga (Beef Short Rib Soup) in the restaurant. It's quite expensive but you won't be disappointed. It’s so
delicious hehe ^^
